I worked with Ray to get some hail damage repaired and he was very helpful! He kept me updated throughout the entire process and was very knowledgeable regarding questions and concerns I had. Found advance auto on Google and all of the reviews were good. So I took a chance and took my vehicle to them and was very much pleased. They fixed the issue I was having among a couple of other things. The price was reasonable,they were very professional, and Glenn was excellent with customer service and keeping me updated with my vehicle through the whole process. If I have any issues with my vehicles in the future I will be going back to advance auto repair

I used Advanced Auto Repair Repeatedly many years ago while I lived in Denton and always received great service. I now live in San Antonio, but was visiting family in Denton this weekend and my current car unexpectedly began experiencing major issues. They immediately made time to look at my car and figure out what it would take to get my car back on the road so I could go home as soon as possible. I appreciate the great work these guys do. I've been taking my little car to this shop for the past 2 years and they've taken care of me very well. I bought my car used 2 years ago so I could get around the area as a student at UNT. Of course, I wasn't well aware of all the problems that came with the car, but these guys have helped me with every problem that's come along the way. They truly do want the best for your car to keep it running for the long haul! I will say, some of the prices for certain repairs are a bit too high for me, especially as a college student, but I know they put the best quality care in what they do. I appreciate the peace of mind they leave me with when I am able to afford the repairs. And when it comes to general car maintenance, this is the place to go! Great service!

Excellent staff and service. Also very cost effectiveI took my car to the dealership for my 100k mile service. They wanted to charge 2,400 dollars! I went here and the service was only 850. The dealer wanted to replace some items that were not required. The guys at Auto Repair checked the equipment the dealer was talking about replacing and said there was no need.I highly recommend this place for your auto repair and service needs.

Fantastic customer service and knowledgeable team. As my truck started to show its age, they were able to look at the issue’s the same day! When they quoted out the repairs, I was able to go online and research each one. Sure enough they were all valid repairs and services with the mileage I had reached. I was also impressed they complete the repairs the next morning! Any future repairs and tune-ups will be taken to Advanced Auto Repair, thank you!

He went out of his way to insure that Audi dealership did not have the option to tell me nothing was wrong, when his tech found the problem. These guys are AWESOME! Very clear and concise when explaining what's needed or not needed on your car. They even gave us a better rate than the coupon we had.They also have coffee, soda, water & snacks along with cable TV to make your wait as comfortable as possible.MAKE AN APPOINTMENT...they stay busy.

Had to take my car in 3 times with "check engine" light issue. Though many other issues were addressed on the first 2 visits, the 3 time appears to be the charm; passed state inspection today, i.e., 9-Sep-2019. Advanced does good work, just takes a little more effort some times. Still, I am very satisfied with the work that has been done.

Just recently, my vehicle was having starting issues and I was going on a road trip. I took it to a mechanic. I told him all the symptoms and that I didn’t believe it was the starter. He insisted it was the starter and was going to charge me over $600. So, I took it to Advanced Auto. It wasn’t the starter but a safety fail switch. The owner took care of it personally and only charged me the part fee, which was significantly less. That is good business!

I worked in the service side of the auto industry for twenty years one of the worst things about moving to a wonderful town like Denton is losing my contacts. Problem solved, bought a pre-owned Hyundai that wasn't cooling very well compared to the other Hyundai of the same model that someone just totalled. So off to Advanced Auto Repair: first it was easy to make an appointment their diagnositic charges were very reasonable. So scampered over like a heard of turtles.Now take this with a grain of salt but I got the kind of service that I would have gotten from a friend in the business. Byron my tech did it exactly right, went the extra mile to diagnose the problem correctly. The local Hyundai dealer told me I needed a new compressor soon because it was leaking, when doing a recall a week before. I'd tried to add some refrigerant to see if it would make it through the summer. Byron figured out it was probably over filled before I'd tried to "fix" it. So three weeks later on our 100° days it's still an ice box in my car. But wait there's more.I did my own buyers check at the Hyundai dealer and I'm semi-compitent. Bryon caught things I missed and the charge for that was nothing. The waiting room was full of happy folks including a 300K mile Lexus owner that had been a long term customer. My service advisor was awesome, Byron walked me through his procedure which was perfect and I saved about $1200 over the Dealer. If I read this review not sure I would believe it. Read the other reviews and go in for an oil change talk to the other customers. There is a reason they are always busy and have been that way for decades. They are doing it right.

Had to get my car towed here due to a bad repair from another shop. The employees were nice, accommodating, and honest. They diagnosed my problem quickly and accurately and told me they'd gladly take my money if I wanted to repair it there but they recommended that I take it to the shop that messed it up and demand it gets fixed for free. I took their advice but I will be taking my car here with any issues from now on.

Have been a customer of Advanced Auto Repair for over 15 years, and have taken small jobs like tune-ups, A/C work, brakes, etc, and really big jobs like engine installations, clutch/transmission rebuilds to them, and they've never done me wrong. The staff is very friendly and honest, and do great work no matter what it is. This shouldn't be an issue for most places, but is, I know that if my wife or daughter go in there, they are not going to be treated any differently than me, talked down to, etc. Love these folks. I recently moved about an hour away from Denton, but I will still go back here for any major work... Great job, great people.Rob

All of the guys at Advanced Auto Repair always take good care of my car. My time is very limited, so they always get me in and out without a long waiting period. They have affordable car service & repair costs. I’ve been a customer for 5 years now, because of the great customer service they provide. I would like to start this review off by saying, my service writer Floyd was extremely helpful and courteous. I was not aware of a military discount until this gentleman informed me about it, saving me a lot of money on an expensive repair already.From the moment you step in the door, they will make sure you are hydrated, by offering an array of drink choices. That alone made me feel comfortable, as I knew they would take care of my vehicle in a sense. My vehicle had a major coolant leak and I have always been one sided on taking my vehicles into a shop to be repaired. I usually take it upon myself to fix my vehicles. But coming here helped me realize that this business is not here to scam or take extra money. They fixed my leak and went through my whole truck and informed me that the truck is in great condition.I just want to thank this business, Floyd and Anthony personally for being welcoming and doing great work! Don’t take your vehicle anywhere else, they’ll shoot you straight!

Floyd and Tiger always take good care of me at the front counter. And my last visit to fix my daughters car's electrical problem one of your great mechanics in the back found a great solution and fix for her wiring harness which saved me around 400 dollars. I was so grateful that I turned around and used that money to buy my daughter two new tires that she needed. I suddenly needed my car starter replaced so I dropped off my car overnight. The next morning, I was told the job might last through the weekend. I asked if they think I should cancel plans I made for 4pm that day and they said that unfortunately it would be a good idea. Telling them that I had plans, they made an effort to work extra fast and they had my car done by 3pm that day and with a job well done. These people truly care about your needs and are clearly service-oriented, not just business-oriented.

This team is the greatest. My Range Rover needed service and thank goodness I found this business. Friendly, Honest, And well trained for service in European vehicles as well as domestic. They did a far better job than the dealership in Dallas and were also much more friendly and respectful. My Rover is running fantastic. Highly recommend Advanced Auto repair . Great job!!!

I've been taking my cars to Advanced Auto for years and have always had great experiences. The service is friendly, professional, HONEST and always top notch. I had an older wheelchair van that they kept in tip top shape - something that is very important in a vehicle that you cannot do without. I also have an 13 year old sports car that I won't trust to anyone else. Especially as a woman, I appreciate the time that they take to explain what the issues are, to show me pictures of the work and to make me feel that I am being well taken care of instead of being taken advantage of - because I don't even pretend to know how to fix most of what is on my car. I highly recommend these guys. I've worked with many different service advisers over the years and have loved them all. They have great follow up and I am always assured that they stand behind their work. All our family cars go to Advanced Auto - and always will!

I found this place on Google while I was on the UNT campus. I gave them a call to see what they could do about my check engine light on my 2007 Volvo S. The man who answered the phone was named TigerAnd he was the most congenial kind hearted person I have ever met.
